PHP Developer Offline

QIT Software is looking for PHP Developer for the product in the Lithuania company. It's a large marketplace with millions of users.

- Stack: PHP, Laravel, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

Hiring process: 1 - Pre-screen (up to 30 mins), 2 - Tech interview with client (Basic PHP), 3 - Deep interview on databases, performance, security, 4 - Behavioral interview

- A minimum of 4 years' experience in PHP development.

- Proficiency in relational databases and their optimisation (MySQL, PostgreSQL). (Very important!)

- Familiarity with PHP frameworks (Laravel preferred).

- A strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

- Experience in unit and integration testing.

- A self-starter with a keen interest in exploring new technologies.

- Background in TDD (PHPUnit) or BDD (Behat or Codeception).

- Experience with Composer / Packagist is highly valued, especially if you have contributed a package.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.

- Experience in continuous integration (using Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.).

- Familiarity with containerization and Docker.

- Understanding of Kubernetes.

- Expertise in performance optimization.

- Proficiency in English.

- Ability to work autonomously in a team environment (!)
