DevOps Engineer(Located in Latvia / Lithuania) (offline)

As a very experienced DevOps Engineer you will play a critical role in challenging and implementing the DevOps and Infrastructure guidelines of our IT Department. You’ll work closely with our SecDevops-Lead, Area Architect and different Development teams.

Requirements:
Our stack: Java, AWS, Serverless, Terraform, Cloudformation
Your qualifications: Strong experience with most of our technologies/providers. A Developer background would be handy Patient and a strong team player. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. Experience with Infrastructure as Code. Understanding of Cloud Delivery Network.

Responsibilities:
What will you be doing: Helping teams moving from an non-compliant setup to a setup that is compliant according our guidelines Automate and optimise our infrastructure leveraging IaaC. Design and deliver AWS platform infrastructure following best practices and your experience. Design and deliver robust and highly-performant CI/CD solutions.

Working conditions:


Project is in a pilot phase currently. Client has existing teams with velocity and schedules in place, they are looking to add senior people to join these teams. English is a must have, any other language is nice to have. Technical knowledge must be at least 2-3 years hands-on experience and practice with the required skillset. Must be able personally implement, build, migrate, manage.. Only theoretical knowledge might not be enough for the role’s successful fulfilment. (technical skills) The client is looking for people who are agile, self-managed, open-minded and with great communications skills, great team player. “You build it – You own it” mentality. (soft skills)

100% home office allowed. Visiting Riga office potentially once a quarter. Candidates have to be located in Latvia / Lithuania
