QA Lead

Position Description:

As a QA Lead, your role entails leadership and responsibility for the quality assurance sphere within the company. You will become a key figure in defining quality standards, developing testing strategies, and their implementation. Your experience will guide the QA team, fostering their development and refining testing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing the QA team, organizing work, and setting priorities to ensure the high quality of developed products.

Developing strategic testing plans that align with business objectives and executing them.

Collaborating closely with development teams and other departments to ensure an integrated approach to product quality.

Evaluating and analyzing testing processes for continuous improvement of efficiency.

Organizing and conducting training and mentoring programs to develop the QA team's skills, enhance their qualifications, and ensure a high level of expertise in product quality.

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the QA field, and at least 2 years of experience in a QA Lead position.

Strong leadership qualities, the ability to lead a team and develop its potential.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction within the team and with other departments.

Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Experience in developing and implementing training and development programs for QA teams, including mentorship and leading training sessions.

Technical Skills:

A deep understanding of manual testing processes, test scenario creation, and defect reporting.

Familiarity with testing web applications, mobile, and desktop applications across various platforms.

Familiarity with project management and bug-tracking tools, such as JIRA.

Knowledge of test management tools, for example, TestRail.

Familiarity with browser developer tools.

Familiarity with SQL database tools.

Knowledge of API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI.

Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools for continuous integration and delivery, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Knowledge of the specifics of testing applications built on a microservices architecture.

Desired Skills:

Proficiency in performance testing methodologies and tools, such as JMeter.

Theoretical and practical knowledge of test automation, including the use of tools like Selenium WebDriver.
