Team Lead Backend PHP Developer

CapsLock is looking to hire an outstanding Team Lead Backend PHP Developer with solid technical skills to support all current projects, develop new ones, and lead the development team.

You'll be involved in a spectrum of development practices, from cultivating high-level design to the specifics of software implementation. We have a great IT team with a strong development background to share your knowledge and increase your technical skill set.

Responsibilities:

- Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.

- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.

- Leading the development team.

- Selection of technical solutions and management approaches for achieving the best result.

- Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.

- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications, code reviewing.

- Integrating software components and third-party programs.

- Determining operational practicality.

- Developing quality assurance procedures.

- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.

- Verifying and deploying programs and systems.

- Recommending and executing improvements.

- Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Skills & Background:

- 5+ years of professional web development experience.

- 2+ years of experience in leading the development teams.

- Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and layered architecture.

- Expertise in software architecture building.

- Proficiency in writing PHP code (7.4+).

- Expertise in Symfony PHP framework.

- Strong experience in SQL with MySQL/PostgreSQL.

- Proficient experience with Git in Git-based workflows.

- Upper-intermediate level of English language.

- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Strong leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in TDD, DDD.

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
