Middle+/Senior Full Stack Magento Developer Offline

Position Overview:

As a Senior Full Stack Magento Developer, you will create, implement, and maintain Magento solutions for clients. Collaborating across design, development, and project management teams, you'll deliver top-tier eCommerce solutions tailored to clients' needs. This role offers exposure to diverse projects, fostering innovation and skill growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

-Implement various e-commerce solutions based on Magento2 platform including integration with cloud-based microservices.

-Focus on satisfaction of business needs as well as web-performance, scalability and extensibility, while avoiding over-engineering.

-Collaborate with product management to translate requirements and design mockups into responsive, user-friendly interfaces to produce efficient e-commerce conversions.

-Assist DevOps team on understanding ongoing production issues, performance outages and security threats.

-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

-Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to ensure code quality and scalability.

-Continuously stay abreast of the latest Magento and IT trends, technologies, and best practices, actively seeking opportunities to enhance development processes and deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

-5+ years of experience in e-commerce software development including implementation of various solutions using the Magento2 platform.

-Extensive experience with Magento 2.x, including custom module development, theme customization, and API integrations.

-Strong understanding of Magento architecture, data structures, and best practices.

-Understanding concepts of web-scalability and caching (CDN, Varnish, Redis)

-Proficiency in PHP 8+, MySQL, HTML, CSS/LESS, JavaScript/ES6.

-Experience with Unit-tests (and another automation testing)

-Experience of MySQL queries tuning is a plus

-Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Proficient knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Lean principles.
