System Analyst - Trading Platform Development (offline)

Who we are looking for?
We are seeking a skilled System Analyst with a strong background in trading platform development. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the design, analysis, and implementation of our new trading platform. You will work closely with our product, development, compliance, risk and trading teams to ensure the platform delivers the best experience to our users, adheres to industry standards, as well as meets regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design and development process of a trading platform, focusing on derivatives (perpetual futures, options, and CFDs)
Conduct in-depth analysis of business and technical requirements, ensuring the platform architecture is optimised for high-frequency trading, scalability, and security.
Oversee the development/implementation of the order matching engine, ensuring high throughput and low latency, along with the integration of risk management and margin systems.
Interacting with third-party providers of certain modules of the platform to ensure the functional/non-functional requirements are met
Design and implement robust data pipelines for real-time market data feeds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data handling and analysis.
Collaborate closely with trading teams to understand their needs and incorporate advanced trading algorithms and strategies into the platform.
Ensure the platform's compliance with applicable regulatory standards for crypto derivatives trading, including market conduct, integrity and data protection.
Work with product and development teams to build an interface for trading terminals while maintaining the integrity and performance of the backend systems.
Regularly review and enhance system performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve trading efficiency and user experience.
Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing between technical teams, traders, compliance officers, and other stakeholders.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical support for complex issues related to the trading platform.

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system analysis, with at least 3 years specifically in the development of trading platforms for derivatives (crypto/forex/CFDs).
Deep understanding of derivatives trading platform architecture, including order matching engines, risk management systems, margin systems, and trade settlement processes.
Proven experience in integrating real-time market data feeds and implementing efficient data processing mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of trading algorithms, including market making, arbitrage, and high-frequency trading strategies.
Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools, with a strong emphasis on handling large datasets and complex financial instruments.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market trends and technology advancements.
Strong knowledge of RESTful principles, familiarity with messaging systems.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems

Desirable Skills
Prior experience in a fintech or financial services environment.
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for crypto derivatives trading and experience ensuring platform compliance with relevant laws and standards.
Technical expertise in blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralised finance (DeFi).
