UN reports estimate the world will not have enough food by 2050 due to increased population and land limitations.

The food and agriculture industries are adjusting and trying to become more efficient and increase yield.

But it all starts with the seeds.

Our customer’s company uses deep learning and computer vision, and building seed sorting platforms in order to revolutionize the seed/plant breeding industry, which is in a never ending pursuit of developing new superior varieties, and the seed production industry which is obligated to perform destructive QA tests to seeds.

Responsibilities:

- Join our Algorithm Ninjas who use images of several acquisition methods, combined with genomic data, in order to draw industry changing insights;

- Research and implement deep learning algorithms for fine-grained, zero shot and unsupervised classification tasks;

- R&D of deep learning algorithms for POCs of new use cases.

Requirements:

- M.Sc or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics/Mathematics or a related field from a known university;

- 3+ years algorithm development in the fields of Deep Learning/Machine Learning/Computer Vision;

- Excellent programming skills in Python;

- Strong mathematical skills;

- Upper-Intermediate English level.
