Schindler is a Swiss multinational company which manufactures escalators, moving walkways, and elevators worldwide, founded in Switzerland in 1874. Schindler produces, installs, maintains and modernizes elevators and escalators in many types of buildings including residential, commercial and high-rise buildings.

Requirements:

- Primary technical skill is Python

- At least 4 years of commercial experience

- Asynchronous programming experience is required: asyncio, thread, concurrent

- Knowledge of communication protocols is required: grpcio, protobuf

- Previous experience with writing/using automated test scripts is required

- Previous experience with embedded software testing is desired

- familiarity with elevators (and especially controllers) is desired

Responsibilities:

The expectation from this position is to help building a solution that emulates Elevator and Escalator systems. These virtual elevators and escalators will be primarily used for building a test platform.

It would be expected from you to:

- Learn about elevators and escalators world

- Design automated test cases for elevators and escalators

- Participate in project planning
