Senior-Level Data Scientist (offline)

Core competencies:

Analytical thinking and exploratory state of mind
Willingness to work with interesting, challenging and non-trivial tasks
Deep knowledge in: Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics and Linear Algebra
Understanding of basic concepts/approaches and algorithms for machine-learning tools
Relevant working experience with machine-learning tools
Ability to work and create algorithms and data structures
Good experience in Python or Scala
Profficent SQL or related languages (Hive, Pig)
Ability to process and analyze large datasets, ability to create and check hypothesis, to visualise data


Following competencies are desirable but not mandatory:

ML and data frame-working with either of: TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Pandas, vowpal wabbit, XgBoost, Spark ML, Azure ML, Amazon ML, Google Cloud ML tools
Analysis of time frames: ARIMA/VARIMA, RNN
Work with large datasets
R, Java and Scala would be an advance
Familiarity with Spark/Spark ML/PySpark, Hadoop stack

Preparation of different hypothesis and models
Hypothesis check by the means of different machine-learning algorithms
Data visualization
Tasks creation for product developers
Committing to application code
Structure and architecture projecting for data processing system
