Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

 

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Ciklum Client.

 

Responsibilities:

- Support our migration of ZTNA services from AWS to Linode

- Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the ZTNA Cloud Platform

- Develop procedures that would help us to automate our SRE/Ops day-by-day work

- Monitor our services health and handle alerts to ensure quick resolution and SLA

- Analyzing logs and events

- Identify appropriate use of cloud operational best practices

- Estimate cloud usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms

- Participating in weekend maintenances ( up to once a month)

 

Requirements:

- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a cloud SRE

- Strong experience with cloud services

- Strong experience in managing K8s services

- Experience working on Linux preferably Ubuntu

- Experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure, AWS preferred (EC2, Route53, S3, IAM, VPC using Boto/Boto3)

- Experience with Monitoring/Logging/Performance Analytics such as Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana or DataDog

- Experience with OpenSearch/ElasticSearch cluster

- Experience with deployment and configuration management tools such as Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet and Chef

- Experience in setting up, configuring and maintenance of load balancers, Nginx/Apache proxies and common infrastructure such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, Rabbitmq, Celery, Active Directory

- Strong understanding of HTTP/S and related web technologies

- Understanding of TCP/IP

- Experience with configuration and management software such GIT

- Adaptable and able to work over the weekends when needed

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
