Senior Node.js / Infrastructure Engineer Offline

WHAT YOU NEED TO START YOUR MISSION:

- Several years of experience in designing and building complex software systems

- 5+ years of experience with Node.js

- 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Terraform, and building infrastructure in Google Cloud

- Expertise in designing and writing automated tests

- Experience performing code reviews and pair-programming with other software engineers

NICE TO HAVE:

- Python skills are a huge plus

- Knowledge of Azure & AWS

- Knowledge of the sustainability aspects of backend technology and infrastructure

- Experience with deploying Machine Learning models

- Familiarity with setting up monitoring and failure recovery systems

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Technical design and implementation of the product

- Designing, deploying and maintaining sustainable infrastructure

- Close collaboration with other engineers and the UX team

- Writing clean and easily maintainable code covered by tests

- Participation in planning and specifying the product roadmap

- Ownership of tasks and independence in making technical decisions

- Researching and presenting new and state-of-the-art technologies - especially regarding sustainability in tech to continuously improve the whole organization.
