Direct Marketing Specialist
As a Direct Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the existing trigger campaigns and launching new campaigns to maximize Direct Marketing revenue & profit and achieve company goals.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a direct marketing manager (both emails & SMS);
- 3+ years of experience in DTC e-commerce;
- 3+ years of experience with the US market;
- Experience with direct marketing and automation platforms (ideally Klaviyo);
- Experience using AI tools to optimize direct marketing flows, campaigns, and communication with customers & subscribers, including customer segmentation, campaign ideation, content personalization, A/B testing, performance analysis, etc.;
- English level: B2 or higher;
- Ability to both maintain & optimize the existing direct marketing campaigns and launch new ones;
- Knows how to efficiently manage customers database, build segments & email lists (knows various segmentation methods & frameworks);
- Understands company’s business and products to prepare the best offers for new and existing customers;
- Knows how to implement & run a/b tests;
- Knows main Direct Marketing KPIs to measure channel’s efficiency and results;
- Can master Google Analytics to analyze direct marketing-related data (knows how to use standard reports, custom reports, segments, etc.);
- Advanced user of Google Sheets (data formatting, pivot tables, etc.);
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus;
- Able to define the scope of work to be done based on company’s vision, goals & priorities.
- Strong communication skills to efficiently work with the team and vendors;
- Ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines;
- Proactiveness, professionalism, and result orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare direct marketing campaigns, and manage design & copywriting tasks, asset coordination, QA, deployment, etc.;
- Proactively develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase email opt-in, open rate, click-through, conversion, and retention while minimizing opt-out;
- Monitor and manages email lists & segments, ensure legal compliance;
- Collaborate with team members & vendors to support other customers acquisition channels;
- Regularly study directKeeping current with email marketing trends and best practices;
- Ensure Golas & KPIs are being met;
- Monitor domain reputation & and ensure the spam rate is low;
- Stay up to date with industry trends for tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
