Ecto has developed an AI-powered decision support platform for animal farming, a global $1.7T industry. Ecto platform connects siloed data streams at animal farms and provides modular data science applications for farm personnel and management to reduce spread of disease, identify mortality risks, reduce over and underfeeding, etc.

We are looking for a super player to join our team as a quality Back End Developer and help us turn our vision into a superb product.

Key Responsibilities:

● Write robust, quality code for industry leading product

● Adhere to development and deployment best practices

● Create and maintain technical documentation

● Collaborate with team members to plan and execute in an Agile manner

● Collaborate with the Product Manager on new ideas and functionality for the product

Technologies:

● PHP 8

● Symfony 5/6

● Design patterns, SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DRY

● Tests (PHPUnit, Codeception)

● PostgreSQL

● SQL as a language (complex operations, understanding of optimization)

● RabbitMQ

● REST

● API for mobile App

● Experience with AWS Services is a plus

● Git, Docker, CI/CD, code review

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree

● 2+ years of development experience

● Solid understanding of programming principles

● Strong communication skills, intermediate or higher English
