WordPress Developer (only Georgia) Offline

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of WordPress architecture, and be able to work collaboratively with the team without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins

Collaborate with designers and other developers to build high-quality WordPress websites that are responsive and optimized for performance

Manage website updates and maintenance, including troubleshooting and bug fixes

Optimize website speed and performance, including implementing caching, minification, and other techniques

Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to existing websites

Ensure website security by implementing best practices for password management, backups, and updates

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience as a self-motivated WordPress developer with a strong emphasis on frontend development

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Ability to spot problems and take the initiative to solve them

Extensive experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins

Extensive experience developing custom Gutenberg Blocks

Familiarity with WordPress architecture and the ability to create custom templates and functions

Understanding of website optimization techniques, such as caching, minification, and CDNs

Knowledge of website security best practices, including password management and backups

Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
