About The Role

You will be responsible for building the next-generation payments network for an industry that has seen little innovation in the last 50 years. You’ll help drivers save hours each week by making transactions painless. You’ll help everyone in the transaction chain get visibility into spending, perform accurate accounting, and save money. Software Engineer on the Financial Platforms team, you’ll be responsible for the core financial services and APIs that our customers and products use, including:

● 5+ years of software engineering experience.

● You’ve led large projects and initiatives on a team.

● You’ve designed and built APIs for internal and external use.

● You’ve worked on financial products, such as payments platforms.

● You build reliable and observable integrations, including with legacy systems.

● You value automated testing and have a wide range of practices and tools in your testing repertoire.

● You architect solutions in a thoughtful way; you limit the number of technologies, can justify your decisions, and can articulate tradeoffs well.

● You help those around you become better, mentoring other engineers through pair programming and thoughtful feedback.
