Objective

Neurons Lab is looking for a Solutions Architect (SA), who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping Conversation AI solutions that leverage AWS AI/ML services. As part of the team, you will work closely with customers in different industries (HealthTech, EnergyTech, RetailTech, FinTech, etc.) to enable large-scale use cases, design ML pipelines, and drive the adoption of AWS for the AI/ML platforms.

About the project

- The project goal is to build a virtual medical assistant. The assistant is software that saves doctors’ time and improves medical service for patients. Assistant integrates with the medical system of any clinic (including an application for patients). After an online appointment for a consultation, the system collects an anamnesis (interviews the patient) and enters this data into the medical cards. In addition, it provides possible options for the diagnosis, which the doctor sees during the consultation. And after the consultation, he clearly explains the appointment and recommendations of the doctor to the patient. This improves history taking and diagnosis of diseases, saves time and reduces emotional burnout of the doctor, and ensures effective communication with patients, primarily foreigners, immigrants (including refugees), and people with hearing and speech disabilities. The result is the improvement of medical services, the process of diagnosis and treatment of diseases, savings of insurance companies and clinics on lawsuits, and staff turnover. The preliminary solution uses Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Rekognition, Amazon CloudSearch, and Amazon Kendra.

Challenges & Responsibilities

- Partner with the sales team to design solutions for customers, and drive Conversational AI and AWS projects.
- Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for customers.
- Understanding the business objectives of the customer and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate those objectives.
- Conducts Well-Architected Reviews and audits customer AWS Accounts
- Participate in the SOW creation process along with the Sales team, Delivery Manager, and engineers
- Conducts customer-facing architecture assessment meetings to gather business and technical requirements, aligns those cloud best practices, architect a solution and, write Epics and User Stories in collaboration with the Team
- Participates in internal and external projects Stand-Ups as a Product Owner from the project's inception to completion
- Support quality development practices and pursue new and better ways to build and deploy software and ML/AI models

Skills

- Practical hands-on experience with industry-leading ML services/products (e.g., AWS AI/ML services)
- Practical hands-on experience in Conversational AI (ChatBot, Digital Avatars, Virtual Assistants, QnABot, Call Center solutions)
- Practical hands-on experience with building an intelligent search solution with automated content enrichment (Amazon CloudSearch, Amazon Kendra, etc)
- AWS Machine Learning Platforms such as Amazon SageMaker for data scientists
- AWS API-driven Services like Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Rekognition, and AWS Connect
- One or more AWS certifications, preferably. AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty
- Collaborative, consultative, and committed to continuous improvement and learning in a team-based environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily comprehensible manner
- Ability to manage competing priorities, while remaining focused on the customer’s needs and meeting agreed-upon deliverables
- Customer-focused, analytical, detail-oriented, and a positive “can-do” attitude

Knowledge

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
- Azure and GCP knowledge and certification are big pluses.
