Salesforce Developer (Product / AppExchange Development)

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our product development team and work on the development and evolution of our Salesforce applications distributed through AppExchange.

You will be involved in the full product development lifecycle — from technical design and implementation to release, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Our product use a hybrid technology stack, combining Salesforce, AWS, and Node.js. This provides an opportunity to work not only with Salesforce development but also with cloud services, backend technologies, APIs, integrations, and distributed application architecture.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (completed or in progress);
• 2+ years of Salesforce development experience and 3+ years of overall software development experience;
• Strong Salesforce development skills: Apex, LWC, SOQL, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;
• Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, data model, governor limits, and platform best practices;
• Experience with Salesforce Flow, Salesforce DX, Git, testing, and deployment processes;
• Good understanding of APIs and integrations;
• Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable code and solve complex technical problems;
• Experience or willingness to work with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude;
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment and sprint-based development process;
• English at Intermediate level or above.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce applications and managed-package functionality for AppExchange;
• Develop new product features and improve existing functionality, architecture, performance, and usability;
• Work across our Salesforce + AWS + Node.js technology stack, including backend services and integrations;
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and product releases;
• Use Claude and other AI tools for development, code analysis, refactoring, testing, documentation, and problem-solving;
• Ensure high standards of code quality, security, scalability, and reliability;
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives and take ownership of development tasks.

Will Be an Advantage

• Experience with Salesforce managed packages, AppExchange applications, or AppExchange security review;
• Experience with AWS, Node.js, CI/CD;
• Salesforce certifications, especially Platform Developer I/II;
• Experience developing financial, accounting, ERP, CRM, or other business applications;
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar;
• Knowledge of German.
