PHP Developer

We are a small production company where all developers work remotely. Now we are looking for a new developer to join our team.

Our main specialization is working on a platform that helps merchants integrate their eCommerce shops with global marketplaces like amazon, ebay, and Etsy.

We are looking for a developer to work with us full-time on a daily basis.

The successful candidate can experience in:

- PHP 7.x-8.x

- One modern PHP framework (Symfony preferable, Laravel or Yii also could be an option)

- Relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

- Have experience writing PHPUnit tests (or are willing to learn how to do this)

- Know what means SOLID, DRY and how to use it

Nice to have (it's not necessary to know this):

- Message Queue (RabbitMQ, Beanstalkd, or any other)

- Basic docker experience

We are using the following technical stack:

- PHP 8.2

- Symfony (api server и new SaaS product)

- Postgres

- Doctrine

- PHPUnit

- Symfony components

- amazon API, ebay api, etsy api

- GitHub

- PrestaShop (mostly small bugfixes)

- git

- GitLab CI/CD

- Docker

You don't need to know all from the list above, but this is something you will work with.

The typical tasks for engineers: are development integration between Shopify and our platform, preparation for release, and code review. Bugfixing, help with L2 technical support for customers.

Our developers are responsible for a full circle. Started with development and finished with a testing feature on the dev environment (that's why we need an automated test). You build it, you ship it, you run it.

Our team speaks the Ukrainian language, but you will need to know English to read technical documentation, tasks, code review

The application process will look like this:

- You send your CV

- We ask you to complete a small test task (or as an alternative you show us an example of your code)

- Based on the task result we will schedule a call with the next interview round or provide you feedback on what needs to be improved

- If the interview when well we will send you an offer
