Senior iOS Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and driven Senior iOS Developer to join our iOS Team - Passenger App. This team owns the customer app including trip discovery, booking and on-board experience for our bus & train travel across the world. Moreover, we invite you to be an active contributor to the team!

As the iOS Team for the passenger app, our goal is to make the travel experience for our users easy, smooth, and accessible.

How do we do that?
We do user research regularly to understand more about our user needs, we work and base our decisions with data, and we keep iterating on our product to make it better. We also embrace collaboration and value your input as an individual. We are currently working on the accessibility and global expansion of our services. You will have the chance to have a direct impact on the future of the product together with the team. All ideas are welcome and we work on everything together to have the best outcome.

You will be joining a supportive and international team, which works currently in hybrid mode (combination of on-site and home-office) and is based in Berlin. We meet regularly in the office but we also do relax and interesting team events; like boat parties and laser tag.

The team currently consists of: three developers, one UI/UX Designer, one Agile Tester, and one Product Owner.

What will make me successful in this role:

5+ years experience with commercial iOS and Swift
Strong experience with RESTful API design HTTP
Good understanding of SOLID principles and software architecture patterns
Knowledge on how to write testable code. Understanding TDD principles
Willingness to participate in Product decision making
Customer centric approach
Experience in an Agile environment
Feel free to show off your RxSwift skills 😄

Bonus points:

Familiarity with reactive programming is a plus (RxSwift, ReactiveSwift, Combine, etc.)
Some experience with Firebase SDK
Mentoring experience is a plus
Having an eye for UI&UX is a plus
Contributions to open source projects is a plus
Up to date with current mobile development trends is a plus
