Designed by early blockchain pioneers, Indigo Tekera is a startup hedge fund that deploys speculative strategies to navigate liquid markets. Momentum Stairway philosophy, a system of thought developed in-house, is at the foundation of fund’s portfolio allocation.

Indigo Tekera is looking for the Data Analyst to join its early team and to contribute to ongoing Momentum Stairway research. A successful candidate will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to design analytical products, identify market leaders, suggest portfolio allocation and maintain ongoing statistical research.

Part of the onboarding process, the MARKET FUNDAMENTALS program will help the prospective employee with key knowledge about market structure, trading philosophy, risk profiling, hypotheses testing and more. This is a full-time position, however candidates are free to work flexible hours and work remotely if needed. We only consider candidates based in Kyiv, Ukraine!

Responsibilities
- Lead data efforts, design trading hypotheses
- Create technological infrastructure to support statistical research
- Implement the Momentum Stairway technology and measure performance analytics
- Create and maintain a global dashboard with structured market overview
- Provide creative input into the principles and actions of dominant trading philosophy

Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in quantitative research
- An education in scientific discipline (math, statistics, physics, economics or similar)
- Strong technology and programmings skills with languages like Python, R
- Comfortable working with probability, statistics, time-series and cross-sectional analysis
- Advanced English + ability to write comprehensive reports
