Middle QA Engineer to $3600 Offline

A small and friendly QA team at SMTP.com is looking for a QA Engineer who has a Middle level. Our candidate must have experience of manual testing and also strives for improving skills. It’s important for our company to find a responsible quality control engineer, who can help us to improve the quality and reliability of our system. Tech stack (Languages and frameworks): Python, Go, JavaScript

Tech stack (Tools): Scrum, DevOps

Tech stack (Platform): AWS, Docker

Technologies used: Docker, Python (optional)

Technical requirements: Linux

How we work:

Test cases, Scrum (2 weeks sprint), Testing new feature within a planned sprint, Jira, TestLink, Confluence, Linux, CI, Git

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports etc.);

- Perform functional, non-functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and exploratory testing;

- Help to develop and improve testing strategies and techniques;

- Working in developers team by Scrum sprint cycle;

- Testing new features according to requirements;

What we era looking for:

- 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance

- Experience with REST API testing (Postman, JMeter etc.)

- Experience with Linux/Unix environment

- Good understanding of SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS

- Experience of using systems like Jira, Testlink, Confluence etc.

Would be a plus:

- Experience with performance testing

- Experience with Docker
