PHP Fullstack Engineer (offline)

Client: Comunchi is a platform for companies to buy digital food coupons for their employees.

Project overview: When a company signs up, it will get access to a dashboard. On this dashboard the company buy the food coupons, add employees, and then either manually give coupons to the employee, or set them up to automatically be given a specific amount of food coupons every week.

When an employee is added, they will a login on their e-mail, and they can then download the Comunchi App on the App Store, or Google play, and login. In this app the employees can browse the difference restaurants and eateries, and their menus. When an employee has a lunch break, they can then visit one of the restaurants on the app, choose a menu, and instead of paying themselves, redeem a coupon. The app also supports group pickups.

The website is a Symfony PHP application, which is running both the general website, and the API that the app talks to. We’re working on separating the general website from the API, so we can have the general website a WordPress site, so it’ll be easier to make small adjustments, landings pages and generally working on the marketing

The website technology stack is:
Front end: PHP, HTML, CSS, JS
Backend: PHP, Nginx, MySQL
App: The app is a VueJs application, which is built through Cordova to the different platforms – that talks directly with the Symfony application on the website and gathers its dynamic data.
The technology is: HTML, CSS, JS, subject to what Cordova otherwise uses to convert it over / run it after construction.

In addition, GIT is used for versioning the source code, for both website and app.
There is also support for the use of docker for the local development environment, otherwise, it just develops raw.
It is also important to mention, that we’re not married to technology in any sort of way. If there is better technology out there, then we’ll be open to change the technology.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in PHP
Experience with Frontend development would be a plus
Experience with Cross-platform application development would be a plus
Experience supporting production applications
High capacity and willingness to learn
