Middle+/ Senior Full-Stack (PHP/ JavaScript) Engineer (offline) to $6700

What's the role about: one of the teams develops a ready-to-use web platform that provides a state of the art online presence for official car dealerships and independent multi-brand retailers and
enables them to maximize traffic acquisition and lead generation at a lower cost-per-lead.
This Platform uses WordPress Bedrock at an Enterprise level. We use multisite systems serving over 1400 websites and counting.
We mainly work with custom-written plugins, and we have an internal boilerplate Theme, which we extend with a child theme when needed. The Plugins and Themes have a similar structure to that of a Laravel project.

We’re looking for passionate and business-oriented developers that will focus on upgrading our premium customers' websites and build customized features, following our internal standards, and leveraging our internal API, infrastructure, and custom tooling.

So, in brief, you'll be in charge of:
- Building content-rich automotive websites for our customers using CMS tools such as WordPress Bedrock to integrate widgets/plug-ins with internal and external services
- Understanding our customers' business needs to make sure you’re addressing them properly.
- Shipping to production maintainable, robust, and tested custom plugins and custom websites for our customers.
- Liaising with the QA Engineers to test the user stories

To cope with those tasks, you should have:
- Experience in one or more frontend technologies such as AlpineJS/jQuery, Vanilla JS, SASS Tailwind, VueJS.
- Experience with packaging tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Grunt.
- Experience with WordPress Multisite, Bedrock, and Sage Theme
- Nice to have experience of OOP in a PHP environment and Laravel
- Some experience with Jest and PHPUnit
- Familiar with Agile principles and best practices such as peer review, pair programming
- Clear understanding of fundamental computer science and software engineering concepts (e.g. design patterns)
- Good spoken and written level of English is a must
