Senior Golang developer at Aura (offline)

Responsibilities

Aura is looking for a Senior Golang Software Engineer to work on a very exciting project aiming to help keep our customers safe and secure while they use the internet at home.

In this role, you'll work on building new and extending existing back-end services in Golang, to support a new and exciting product we are bringing to market. As part of our team, you'll work with other engineers, product managers and designers, and our testing team to take features from idea, to specification, to implementation, to launch. We are a small, nimble team and give our teammates a lot of room to be creative with solutions. Writing code securely is of the utmost importance, as our goal is to make our customers more secure in their daily lives.

Help architect and build the services to secure our customers and make our product best of breed
Coordinate with our product management team, other developers, and other development teams to build the product to keep our customers safe
Build tools and runbooks to ensure the service we build are scalable, resilient, and supportable as they grow to millions of customers.

Qualifications
- Strong Golang programming skills
- Extensive experience developing scalable back-end solutions using Golang
- Experience building event-driven microservices
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud provider
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

Nice To Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with TerraForm
- Experience with developing network security software
