Machine Learning Engineer (Sign-on bonus 1k) (offline)

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to develop an AI/ML engine that automates the process of RFQ (request for quotation) Analysis and Bid Preparation. The engine reads large PDF files and provides associated output files based on keywords and desired information. The objective is to process 80-100 PDF docs (up to 2,000 pages each) per month and generate outputs that align OEM products with client RFQ needs.

Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’ degree in computer science, information systems, STEM or related;
- Strong programming experience in Python;
- Experience with developing applications from scratch;
- Knowledge of Machine Learning foundations;
- Understanding of algorithm complexity and performance implications;
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms;
- At least Upper-intermediate English (both written and spoken).

Will be a Plus:
- DB engineering experience, preferable with Elasticsearch;
- Previous experience with NLP tools for text recognition e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Gensim, etc.;
- Experience with Named Entity Recognition (NER), CV.
