Our client works in online retail and is one of the largest players on the eCommerce market. The company is developing rapidly and today there is a need to transfer the existing IT solution to a microservice architecture.
About the vacancy
Our client works in online retail and is one of the largest players on the eCommerce market. The company is developing rapidly and today there is a need to transfer the existing IT solution to a microservice architecture.
The project’s technology stack is based on Go, Vue.js and Postgre. DataArt is the main vendor for the client. The team working on tuning the performance of the current solution and taking a direct part in creating the architecture of the future platform.
Responsibilities
- Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
- Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro service distributed architecture
Must have
- Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
- Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
- Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
- Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
- Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
- Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
- Spoken English
