Requirements

Professional Skills (is able to)

• TCP/IP + Windows LAN (part of multinational WAN) administration, understanding IT security and safety

• Proficient MS Windows user systems, internet-related and common local business-related applications

• MS Windows Server, Active Directory administration

• Servers / regular desktop and mobile hardware maintaining

• Good awareness of LAN structured cabling standards

• Basic network equipment skills

• Basic PBX / packet telephony (IP-phone/Skype/etc.) knowledge

 

Expected Job Result

• Maintaining IT Systems in order and operational.

• Supporting users to save their time on technical tasks easily, focusing on guests, minimizing their downtime and ensuring their satisfaction.

• Deploying and upgrading IT systems by IT projects part of business development projects.

• Restricting users from disallowed use of IT Systems (according to the existing policies).

• Meeting and exceeding the standards for IT Quality, cost, and timeframes, following the policies from Сentral IT (with efficiency of user support as the major goal to constantly improve)

• Revealing new demands and risks and reporting them to Central IT proactively for changes (by submitting the development requests).

 

Technical and Supportive

• Process or arrange processing of user support requests.

• Create and maintain the plans, specifications, and setup lists for IT Systems deployment, operations, and support (cabling and wiring, servers, network, power supply and wiring closet equipment, end-user equipment, software, etc.)

• Roll out, maintain, and repair the IT infrastructure, including facilities, hardware, and software.

• Assist users as the IT expert, mentoring them in place where needed.

• Provide support and systems’ access for roaming users from the HQ and other locations.

• Monitor and optimize the systems’ use.

• Order the hardware and software equipment, arranging installations, hot stock/repair, CMDB inventory, and write-off, following the existing procedures.

• Help Central IT and other regional teams to cross-back up worldwide IT operational activities.

 

Depending on the scale of the project or the amount of work, large-scale or non-critical technical tasks are to be performed with help of the contractors and/or team members

 

Work Schedule

• Full-time employment, according to local office hours.

• Schedule shifts and overtimes depend on person’s performance and Operations needs.

 

Work Experience

• 3+ years in equal position

Personal Skills

• Fluent spoken and written Ukrainian, English and Russian

• Self-organized, positive, time-managing person

• Good common sense and willingness to make ‘complex things simpler’

• Strong sense of responsibility and high level of attentiveness
