Technical Writer / System Analyst Offline
Responsibilities:
- Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging project docs.
- Write and maintain all technical documents including business-logic documents, technical specifications, diagrams, developer guides, specifications, training materials, and how-to manuals.
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing project docs, working closely with Project Manager to understand project requirements, working closely with the Development team to fulfill their needs.
- Gather feedback from the teams to improve technical documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree. Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical writing and editing of software documentation.
- English level: C1 and higher. Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Experience with product development, including past use of product development software (such as Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket).
- Understanding of how to work with CLI (Linux), write commands.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, styles, and markup.
- Hands-on experience with APIs (REST JSON/XML). Understanding of the general idea of client-server relations.
- Experience in writing conscious, consistent, and well-structured articles.
- Sharp eye for details.
Will be a plus:
- Good programming skills. Particularly, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java.
- Experience in Git.
- Understanding DB.
- Experience with AWS.
