Senior Backend Engineer - PHP/Laravel Offline

Requirements for experience with:

- At least 5 years of experience in working with Framework (Laravel or Symfony)

- Advanced experience of database architecture and design

- Advanced experience in writing complex and efficient SQL queries (Mysql, PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery)

- Experience working with ELK Stack and EQL queries

- DevOps knowledge: Docker, Linux, Gitlab CD/CI, Kubernetes

- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP)

- Strong *NIX command-line and scripting skills

- Knowledge how to build microservice systems

- Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS

- Intermediate/Upper Intermediate English level both for verbal and written communication

Responsibilities:

- Develop scalable laravel-based tools and microservices for data processing

- Develop and optimization of complex SQL queries for big-data exports

- Design and maintenance a fault-tolerant database architecture

- Develop tools for data analysis

- Identify, dissect, and resolve problems

Technologies to be used: Framework (Laravel or Symfony), ELK Stack and EQL queries, Docker, Linux, Gitlab CD/CI, Kubernetes (as a plus), cloud environments (AWS, GCP), *NIX command-line and scripting, microservices, HTML and CSS.

Work with big data, ML.

The project team: Frontend, Backend developers on our side, Customer from the USA.

How will I work:

The team works according to the focus more on a result rather than process, meetings several times a week when needed.

Level of English: Upper Intermediate.

Communication with the team is required, meetings with Client.

Schedule:

flexible, 8 hours per day. There are normally no meetings in the evenings.

Locations:

We have not been tied to locations since the pandemic and are ready to cooperate with talents from different parts of Ukraine.
