PHP Developer  $2800-4800

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated PHP back-end developer to join our development team.

The right candidate will have strong technical capabilities, solid verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and be organized and passionate about development. They should have at least 4 years of professional experience and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

Job Responsibilities
This role includes a mix of a new project (greenfield development, microservices) as well as adding features and fixes to the existing codebase. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and have the drive to be the best at what they do. Technology is always evolving and we're looking for people who enjoy keeping up with the latest trends.

As a Senior PHP Developer at Fru.pl and Vola.ro you will work within a team of like-minded and talented engineers in a focused, no bureaucracy environment, striving to push the limits of our capabilities while delivering tremendous value to our stakeholders.
Your weekly tasks will be split between:
- 80% Coding
- 10% Bug fixing
- 10% Meetings (standups, devs' tech meetings, planning)

Recruitment process
The entire recruitment process is carried out remotely. Selected candidates will get the link to a website where they can book an appointment for an interview. In most cases, there is only one video call which takes around 1,5h. The call is led by the CTO and one of our tech leaders.
The decision is made in a week or two after the interview call.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 years of experience with PHP Object-Oriented programming
- Experience with PHP frameworks, Laravel preferred but not a must-have
- Experience with MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience with git
- Experience in using Composer for dependency management
- Experience in designing, building, and using REST APIs
- Experience in writing tests
- Knowledge of design patterns

Awesome but not a must
- Experience in a microservice architecture
- Knowledge of message broker systems (Google Pub/Sub)

Location
Our office is located in Warsaw and Krakow, we accept fully remote work, partially remote work, or work in the office :)
IT team is located in Krakow, so if you prefer to work from the office with the team, welcome to the city of Polish Kings.
