Senior Java (data engineer) (offline)

Job Description:
4+ years of very good hands-on experience in Back-End Development
Strong knowledge of OOP
Strong knowledge of Java
Good knowledge of REST
Experience in building large scale pipelines with Spark or similar
Upper-Intermediate English level

Job Responsibilities:
Develop data pipelines as apart of the Data Management Platform. There is BigData infrastructure in place (Airflow, Spark, Redshift, Hive) - the code runs on top of it to process data from various data sources - internal projects and systems. The data processing includes development of the data extractors, analysis and loading into BI tools like Looker.

Unique opportunity to work with BigData tools, AWS and data analysis domain.

Performing requirements analysis, application development, product configuration, unit testing
Monitoring existing code and doing performance tuning if necessary
New features implementation. Bug fixing and troubleshooting
Cross-team communication and cooperation
Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment
