Junior PHP Developer $2000-2500 Offline

We’re looking for a PHP Developer with knowledge of PHP 7, MySQL and has an intermediate level of English. That’s quite a list right? But for this, you will receive a lot in return!

As a junior PHP developer, you will start a 3-year education program to take your skills to the next level. At Giftcards Group you will start intensive training — you could compare this to a traineeship. The program looks like this: in the first 2 months you will do a lot of learning and after this you’re welcomed in our development team.

This first year’s focus will be: on improving your skills and making you comfortable working in a professional environment. For example, you will do pair programming for 2 days every sprint. This way you can learn directly from our middle and senior programmers. And you will have

monthly 1-on-1 talks with our CTO and team leader. After the first year, you can call yourself a middle programmer.

The second and third years are focused on improving your hard and soft skills. After the third year, you will be able to call yourself a Senior PHP programmer!

Maintaining our processing/management system

Building new features

Creating new API’s for the ReactJS team

Improving your programming skills

Working together with the development team located in Ukraine

Working together with the PO’s located in Amsterdam

What’s in it for you?

Gross salary between $ 2.000,- and $ 2.500,- each month

First 2 training months between $ 1.500,- and $ 2.000,- each month

Where will you be working?

Giftcards Group, was founded on the kitchen table. Our founder was thinking of a gift for a friend of his. A gift card for jewelry was the original idea. And now a couple of years later Giftcards Group is working to become the biggest gift card provider in the Netherlands. The daily operations are based in the Netherlands, but the in-house development team is located in Ukraine. Slowly but steady we’re also busy expanding our specialism over to the United Kingdom, Belgium and many more European countries.
