DevOps Engineer Offline

Bizzabo's server architecture is microservices-based, running in AWS with ElasticSearch, MySQL, and BigQuery as our data-lake. We are passionate and curious about new technologies.

WHAT YOU HAVE

— At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer responsible for Monitoring and Logging frameworks

— Extensive knowledge of monitoring principles including Infrastructure, Application, and Network

— Good knowledge in Grafana, Prometheus

— At least 2 years of experience working with cloud providers (AWS is preferable, GCP, Azure)

— Experience working with Terraform or equivalent

— Good understanding of CI / CD concepts and experience in implementation

— Advantage - Experience with K8S

— English: Upper-intermediate

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

♦ Design, develop and maintain:

— Monitoring solution for a large scale SaaS environment keeping Infrastructure, Application, and Networking in mind

— An efficient alerting system allowing for Automated Remediation where possible

— Logging system allowing for full traceability and visibility

— Dashboards framework that allows teams to also create their own custom dashboards

♦ Take an active part in all other DevOps activities including:

— Build and maintain our evolving CI/CD Pipeline

— Automate infrastructure using Terraform

— Maintaining and improving our k8s clusters

— Work closely with development teams

— Taking part in deep-dive troubleshooting and driving technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues
