Autotalks is a fabless semiconductor company devoted to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications for manned and autonomous vehicles. Founded in 2008, the company is privately held with strong financial backing. The company’s headquarters are in Israel with offices in North America, Germany, France, China, Japan and Korea.

Autotalks implements rigorous development and quality procedures, compliant with automotive standards, with the QA department taking a critical role at the center of operations. QA engineers employ a range of manual and automated tools and technologies.

As a QA Team leader at Autotalks, you will:

Lead a team of QA engineers, allocate their tasks, provide technical guidance, monitor and report

Work closely with SWQA managers on planning and execution of tasks

Work closely with Software, Wireless (RF), Security and Product engineering teams on validation of internal and customer projects

Develop software and system test plans covering all aspects of the product

Design and execute manual and automated tests based on detailed requirements

Produce reports detailing the results and analysis of test executions

Analyze, identify, record and track bugs

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Excellent communication skills, fluency in English

5+ years of experience in manual and/or automated testing, including:

Analyzing requirements and acceptance criteria

Designing and implementing tests

Writing and executing test scripts

Implementing strict QA processes and methodologies

Experience in embedded/communication systems

Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to details

Solid end-to-end system understanding

Self-learning skills and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Experience as a Team Leader - advantage

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an advantage:

Linux / RTOS

Communication systems, specifically: RF, IEEE802.11 protocols, 3GPP protocols

Automotive, Aerospace or Medical quality standards and methodologies

Security and cryptography
