Backend developer

Skills/knowledge required for the position

• At least 3 years’ experience in software development.
• Good level of programming skills in PHP7.*.
• Strong knowledge in developing with Symfony 4/4.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and some Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Docker.
• Ability to debug complex PHP applications (Xdebug, Profiler, and others).
• Experience with Web Services.
• Experience with Go would be a plus
• Development following PHP coding standards (PSR).
• Knowledge of Docker and experience with AWS is a plus.

Main job responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Collaborating with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features.
