Software Architect (offline)

In the position as Software Architect, you can expect:
- Observe industry trends and new technology in order to improve our architecture and make up-to-date decisions.
- Stay up to date and help to provide compliance of the solution with fintech specific standards and regulations.
- Create architecture of new projects, communicate and validate these with both internal R&D and the customer.
- Lead product development of new features, from analysis and design all the way through testing and delivery.

Main responsibilities and examples of tasks:
- Prototype customer-requested features.
- Analyze requirements from Customers and Product Management.
- Provide technical specifications for new feature development.
- Define non-functional requirements for the solution and ensure that developed solution is compliant with them.
- Maintain and document the architecture for the solutions we develop.
- Work with customers and internal teams to identify technical solutions and their impact on our technical platform.

Some of your time will also be spent on:
- Contribute with code for critical components for feature development.
- Guide technical design and implementation efforts.
- Code reviews and mentoring junior members of the team (for features that code is contributed to).
- Ensure that engineering teams follow sound and consistent engineering practices to keep technical debt at a minimum.
- Work on different projects.

Authority for this role includes, and is limited to the following:
- Responsible for maintaining the architecture of the platforms and products we deliver and the documentation thereof.
- Has the authority to make decisions that will affect the architecture of the platform.

A Software Architect needs the following qualifications and skillset:
- Bachelor of engineering+, architecture certification desired
- 5-7 years+ of software engineering experience
- Analytical, problem solver, structured, good communicator
- Good presentation and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple, sometimes conflicting requirements.
- Good customer communications skills in English (written and spoken)
