Junior Release/Integration engineer for Automotive project (IRC111827) (offline)

Job Description

REQUIRED:
- BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or other related fields
- Base knowledge of Linux administration experience.
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration (e.g. GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery/Continuous deployment.
- Good knowledge of SW Configuration Management aspects, e.g.: release management, build system integrity.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in programming and/or scripting languages (bash, python, etc.).
- Good level of communication and reporting skills.
- High level of self-organization.

PREFERRED:
- Public and private Cloud solutions (AWS)
- Experience in developing/testing/integrating of the Android-based systems
- Previous experience in Embedded Systems development;

Job Responsibilities
- Set up and configure SW build systems for individual projects, manage and control the SW build procedure
- Work closely with Dev teams on all SCM aspects in projects
- Work out and maintain SW builds standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Creating appropriate documentation
- Communication regularly on status and progress
- Continually help to improve Dev tools, processes and procedures
- Take part in the defining and improvement of the CI strategy.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the automation scripts
- Participate in the analysis and troubleshooting of various infrastructure issues
- Take part in daily activities to ensure stability and operability of build environment

Department/Project Description:
Our Client is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. Project goals are software implementation for Client infotainment hardware platform intended to be used in a mass-production car/vehicle market.
SW platform: Android 8.1 / Android 10
HW platform: Snapdragon 820a (MSM8996)

The scope of the project includes SW design preparing, implementation, integration and maintenance phases with following to modern industry standards for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE) and Agile (SCRUM).
