Responsibilities

Leading the design & development of new and existing software products
Delivery of high-quality code
Helping the team build, test and release cool things faster, better and smarter.
Communicating clearly and constructively with dev team colleagues and project stakeholders
Peer-reviewing your fellow developers’ work
Contributing to the evolution of our tech stack


Requirements

Must-have:
At least 5 years commercial experience in a PHP/Laravel/MySQL environment
Proven ability to design, build and deliver complex web applications to enterprise clients
Fluent git skills
Some knowledge of front-end JS frameworks, ideally Vue.js
Excellent communication and team-working skills
A thorough understanding of the principles of Clean Code


Nice-to-have:
Working with very large data-sets
ElasticSearch (or other document-based database systems)
Web-scraping technologies & strategies
Docker
Puppeteer
Nginx / Apache / Linux administration
AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, ElasticBeanstalk)
Other programming languages
Foreign language skills – especially reading ability in Spanish & other European languages, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or Japanese.
