Lead .NET Developer (with Azure) (offline)

Job Description

6+ years of professional hands-on full-stack web development experience with the .NET framework including C#,MVC, and Microsoft Entity Framework
Microsoft Azure Compute, Storage, and Queue technologies
Microsoft Azure PaaS and Serverless offerings such as App Services and Functions
Leading and/or managing development teams
Storage technologies such as Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, MSSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Services and applications leveraging .NET Core, NodeJS, ASP.NET MVC, C# and JavaScript
Experience of Agile Project Delivery techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
Understanding and implementing new technologies quickly.
Excellent communication skills and hands-on experience working on component-based applications in a distributed environment
Computer Science degree or equivalent, with strong development fundamentals, including use of SOLID design principles, Object Oriented Programming, Development patterns and Test-Driven Development

Job Responsibilities

Collaborates with project manager, product owner/business analyst, system architect, and other members of the development team on the requirement elicitation, and documentation and acceptance criteria in a fast-paced agile environment.
Work with development teams to flesh out technical and QA requirements.
Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, and serve as a technical lead on projects of varying sizes and complexity
Coach junior team members to define the most appropriate technical solutions, adhere to Agile processes, and follow software engineering best practices.
Produce relevant architectural and technical artifacts
Supporting program manager and system architect in researching and prototyping emerging technologies


Department/Project Description

The client is a growing Swiss company founded in 2014 by three highly experienced key opinion leaders in their field (Oncology, Healthcare Policy, Pharmaceutical Industry, Healthcare Insurance Industry). The founders are involved in product and business development and are dedicated to make the product​ a leading platform in Europe for PROs, bringing benefits to patients and treatment centers.

The product is an electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) SaaS system which includes the CE-marked MDD Class I medical device, Pro Care. Pro Care improves the symptoms progression monitoring for cancer patients, as well as the monitoring of their wellbeing. Pro Care facilitates patient-doctor communication, especially in the outpatient setting.
