As a Software Developer your role is to support our development team to bring our large code base to the next level and make it future-proof.

## Your key responsibilities

* Port a large code base from 32-bit to 64-bit

* Refactor legacy code using modern C++ features

* Replace deprecated frameworks with common platform independant C++ libraries

* Identify potential risks, track and fix defects

* Document code, define guidelines and communicate solutions

* Ensure that the software meets high quality standards

* Automate test cases in C++

* Collaborate closely with the Test and DevOps teams

## Your profile

* 3-5 years SW development experience

* Critical thinking and analytical skills

* Great attention to detail

* Ability troubleshoot errors

* Solid knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows platform using Visual Studio

* Experience with version control systems, preferable Git

* Experience with bug/issues tracking tools

* Experience with agile/scrum methodologies

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Very good written and spoken English and optional German skills

## Nice to have

* Experience with COM

* Experience with MFC/ATL framework

* Experience with STL and/or boost

* Experience C++ development on Linux
