Required Skills

- At least 2 years of proven experience with PHP 7+

- Expert knowledge of OOP, SOLID, MySQL, SQL as well as an understanding of basic design patterns

- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Linux

- Understanding of abstract data types and algorithms

- Previous experience with highly loaded applications and the ability to optimize them

- Solid knowledge of relational databases

- Backend background for creating Magento customizations

- Experience with Git and other development tools

- At least 2 years of experience with Magento and familiarity with its architecture

- Understanding of API integrations development

- Technical English

Nice to Have:

-Good English both written and verbal

Responsibilities

- Customizing existing Magento modules and developing new ones

- Interaction with APIs (various payment gateways, marketing and analytics systems)

- Leading the Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration process in terms of custom development and existing modules

- Implementation of new features as well as forefront solutions based on Magento 2

- Developing extensions and complex integrations from the ground up

- Supporting and maintaining the existing functionality of the projects

- Participating in code reviews

- Communicating with the team and the clients.
