BigData Platform Engineer Offline

The solution senses and automatically adjusts the comfort level:

- Tracking personal sleep data during the night

- Individual comfort and temperature balancing

- Comfort adjustability on each side of the bed

The project is related to developing cutting-edge sensor technology and data processing algorithms.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years in working with Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies

Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Architectures or other work related to the construction of enterprise data assets

Strong Experience implementing ETL processes and building data pipelines

Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop

Good experience with Apache Spark framework

Experience tuning Hadoop/Spark parameters to improve performance

Experience with Big Data querying tools

Data modeling and schema design

Experience of Nifi, ElasticSearch/SOLR, and HBase is a plus

Proven understanding and demonstrable implementation experience of cloud data platform technologies (Azure or AWS)

Strong SQL programming background with the ability to troubleshoot and tune the code

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills

Experience working in a geographically distributed team

Good knowledge of Agile Scrum

Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Architect, develop and manage large scale data systems and ingestion capabilities and infrastructure

Support Design and development of solutions for the deployment of dashboards and reports to various stakeholders

Work directly with the business teams to rapidly prototype analytics solutions based upon business requirements

Architect data pipelines and ETL processes to connect with various data sources

Design and maintain enterprise data warehouse models

Tune and improve the performance of reporting solutions

Deploy updates and fixes and assist technical support
