Senior DBA Engineer (MS SQL) Offline

We are looking for a Senior DBA Engineer to help define the architecture of our platform to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business. You will have a unique opportunity at being an integral part of building a highly scalable, highly reliable service platform.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Manage a set of MS SQL instances (replication, purging, achieving)

- Together with the team of Architects defining and implementing a roadmap to bring our current technology up to date

- Design and implement high-performance, highly scalable and available features

Requirements:

- Computer Science degree (BS or MS) or relevant to the position

- At least 5+ years of the experience with the related technologies

- In-depth practical knowledge of the MS SQL (administrating, tweaking the performance, scaling)

- Experience with REST API

- Ability to create and implement the design of relational databases with solid reasoning behind such decision (same for NoSQL solutions)

- Write the complex SQL queries and tweak the performance of the existing ones

- Understanding of Azure ecosystem (Azure DevOps)

- DevOps skills: Linux shell scripting, Pipelines, Power Shell scripting - will be a plus.
