The Company is cooperating with world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with the high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

Team in GlobalLogic is providing a full cycle of the R&D services to the customer. The main responsibility is the bring-up of the newest versions of the Android OS on a customer specific hardware, including system requirements analysis, new features development and bug-fixing, system integration and validation.

Requirements

Good knowledge of Java
Good knowledge of Linux, including experience in development on Linux
Intermediate spoken and writing English

Desired Skills

- Experience in Android/Android SDK will be a major plus
- Experience in embedded systems will be a major plus
- Experience in C++ development, including Android/Android NDK
- Experience in GIT

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Android specific features on the OS level.
- Contribute to the applications development for Android OS
- Contribute to the performance analysis and optimization of the existing system.
- Porting customer specific features and applications to the newest Android versions.
