Middle PHP Developer

Skelia invites PHP Developer for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Lviv, Ukraine.

MISSION
You will turn functional specs into technical specs and then into code
You will write efficient, tested, and safe backend code that is easy to read and extend
You will take a pragmatic approach in finding and fixing problems
You will help colleagues write better code through PR reviews and pair programming sessions
You will communicate to people responsible for QA how your work can be tested
You will sync with the product team about functional specs to explain what is easy or hard to do and giving feedback to help shape the future of the product
You will write detailed, comprehensive, and clear documentation whenever necessary
You will own features from A (product spec) to Z (deploy) and be responsible for successful release

REQUIREMENTS
You are a PHP expert, 5+ years of PHP experience => PHP 7.3
You love unit testing, integration testing, end to end testing, TDD, and all things testing
You write tests before you start fixing bugs
You have experience building and architecting RESTful APIs
Proper coding architecture is what makes you happy (e.g. MVC, SOLID)

You are product and result oriented
Version control (e.g. Git) is something you couldn’t live without
Your English must be very good, both oral and written
You have experience working in a remote team
You take ownership of problems and projects
You are familiar with managing CI/CD pipelines what tool?
You are experienced in unit testing, integration testing, end to end testing
You are familiar with at least one other backend language (JS, Python, Go, …) * => nice to have*
You have experience with queues, event sourcing, CQRS, Elasticsearch and/or Laravel => nice to have
