Younk is the first community music label where artists receive direct support from the community. As a startup, we went through some changes — mostly got rid from blockchain. And during this overall worldwide quarantine we’ve been thinking a lot on how the music industry is changing. And what the world needs at its most: diversity, creativity and some fresh air.
Since 2018, our priority was to modernize the music industry by providing a unique platform, where artists can express their talent and be heard and supported by community of music fans. The community of music fans can directly influence the industry: they discover and fund the up-and-coming hits in exchange for partial ownership of the end product. To find these rare experiences, they stay curious and always open for the undiscovered. So are we.
About the position:
We need an experienced iOS developer with at least 3+ years of experience to develop and support Younk's iOS application.
Duties:
+ Take care of Younk's iOS application: develop, grow and improve like if it was your baby
+ Design and build clean, extensible and reliable architecture
+ Implement fully functional mobile client for Younk which will have not only some pretty standard features, like music player, social capabilities, etc., but also a real-time, high-load video-live streaming functionality (yes, we want extend music experience for music fans! But for now we're going to use existing streaming providers, like Wowza or DaCast)
We expect you to:
+ Have excellent software engineering and architectural skills
+ Have 3+ years of experience of iOS development
+ Know CocoaPods, Alamofire, WebSockets, CoreData, VIPER, RxSwift, Git and all the other stuff
+ Have practical experience of application publication in App Store
+ Really like music and share our interests
+ Work well in a team and independently
If you have experience of development of video-live streaming applications - it will be a huge plus.
