Project Manager (technical background) Offline

Project Description:

Luxoft is looking for a strong project manager with a technical background to work with the Asset Performance Management domain of business. We already have a team with TLs working on different projects from the same domain of one client + we're launching r&d project from the same pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Delivery

• Focus on Customer satisfaction and delivery, managing customer's expectations

• Ensuring work pipeline for managed teams

• Tracking delivery status for ongoing features

• Tracking teams performance and issues

• Raising delivery risks to customer and negotiate options

• Drive implementation of lean key processes across teams

• Ensuring sharing of best practices/business domain knowledge between teams

• Identifying process inefficiencies and drive solutions

Reporting

• SLAs tracking

• Preparation of status reports, ad hoc reports development

• Time tracking (timesheets)

• Documentation preparation

People management

• Be the local people manager. This means engagement with all people on a regular basis - provide updates and propose changes.

• Monitor load balancing across individuals together with the team leads and building up of cross-application know-how. Identify cases for job rotation

• Organization of training, courses, customer visits, team buildings

• Vacation/Day Offs/Absence requests coordination

Other

• New hire activities

• New-joiners on-boarding and induction

• Solving day to day and ad-hoc administrative tasks

• Management meetings organization, meeting minutes

Mandatory Skills:

- min 4 years of project management experience;

- experience with management of distributed teams is a must

- at least one project of 10+ people ;

- technical background in software development (Java \ JS) or Test automation or DevOps is a must (candidate should be up-to-date with recent technologies and should be in a position to hold deep technical discussions and propose solutions);

- experience with Agile-based projects is a must;

- experience with people management is a must;

- advanced spoken and written English is a must;

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- experience of managing multiple teams is a big plus;

- experience of managing 15 - 20+ people is a plus;

- experience with fixed price project is a plus;

- proven experience with crisis management - is a big plus

- Agile certifications like CSM, IC-Agile in Delivery, Facilitation, Product Ownership is a plus;
