Junior QA Engineer (offline)

Project Overview:

Our customer is one of the key players in the world of maps and navigation platform.
The goal of the project is to provide comfortable guidance services for the car driver during the trip.
Companion SDK team takes part in the development and maintenance of a set of current generation SDKs, which act as a bridge exposing core system's location features to third-party mobile developers.
While the iOS and Android SDKs are independent products targeting different mobile platforms, they do build on the same set of platform services, use consistent concepts and terminology where appropriate, thereby facilitating cross-platform application development.
For this reason, iOS and Android SDKs shares a significant part of the code written in C++, and the same time contains platform-specific code implemented in Objective C and Java respectively.

Requirements:
Responsibilities:

Cross-teams communication (e.g. reports preparation and sharing);
Perform functional manual testing of End-to-End solution;
Perform non-functional testing of full E2E solution;
Perform QA activities including report results and quality metrics, defect troubleshooting and follow up;
Maintain the documentation and reports of the test;
Define, execute, maintain test scenarios;
Follow, improve processes to assure that we are reaching the agreed quality standards;
Provide reliable software releases through thoroughly and extensively testing;

Required Skills & Experiences:

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent);
Knowledge of software quality best practices;
Knowledge and good experience with testing tools (e.g. Jira, Test management tools like TestLink, Zephyr, etc.);
Good knowledge of Agile Software Development methodology;
Upper-intermediate or higher written and spoken English.

The following is a big plus:

Previous experience in testing embedded systems;
Previous experience in testing web services and/or mobile applications;
