Manual QA Intern (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is an American multinational corporation, one of the world's largest providers of products and services that make the oil and gas production possible.

Our Products are two scientifically grounded applications (Desktop and Web) aimed to Design, Optimize and Monitor specific processes in field, simulate or calculate various operations, view and evaluate real-time data acquisition, execute various file imports, reporting and integrations with multiple other software products.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements, UI wireframes and Acceptance Criteria in new User Stories
• Create and review test cases with clear test objectives
• Identify, document, and reproduce defects in software
• Participate in regression testing and verification/validation activities
• Follow and contribute to Agile/SCRUM activities (e.g. daily stand-ups, retrospectives, iteration planning, estimating/reporting, acceptance criteria definition, etc.).

Mandatory Skills Description:
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle and role of testing in it
• Knowledge of testing theory (test design techniques and testing types)
• Basic knowledge of testing artifacts (test case, bug report)
• Understanding of Bug Priority and Severity
• Knowledge of characteristics of good requirements
• Good spoken English
• Ability to locate and describe a problem
• Ability to quickly master new skills and gain new knowledge
• Responsibility, curiosity

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working with Engineering or Scientific Applications.
• Experience in testing the Oil and Gas Industry software or at least willingness to learn the domain specifics
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of client-server applications
• Understanding of working in TFS/Azure Devops
• Experience with Virtual Machines configuration
