We are looking for a Network Engineer to join us.

Servers.com is an international hosting provider with data centers in the US, Europe and Asia.

We provide reliable business solutions: dedicated servers, cloud technologies, load balancer, firewall, Kubernetes and monitoring services.

Clients use our services to deploy game servers, payment gateways, streaming services and other high-load systems.

Key tasks:

• providing network equipment administration at multiple data centers;
• performing the routine and emergency maintenance works on network equipment;
• dealing with requests from external and internal clients;

• directly participating in internal projects (developing network, connecting new locations, implementing new equipment, automation).

   

Requirements:

• proficiency in LAN/WAN principles;
• strong understanding of dynamic network protocols (BGP/OSPF);
• understanding L2-networking: VLANs, xSTP family, LACP, Redundancy (LACP/VRRP/etc);
• ability to perform basic network troubleshooting;
• English level sufficient for reading technical documentation and communicating with customers (Intermediate at least);

• ability to learn, communication skills, willingness to take in and analyze large amounts of new information (mostly technical in English).

   

Will be a plus:

• experience with network equipment from Extreme, Juniper or Nokia;
• EVPN and/or MPLS knowledge;
• certifications from network equipment and software vendors;

• experience in telecom and/or datacenter networking.

• Project Description:

  Development of monitoring and diagnostics system. It fulfils both local and remote data access and analytics requirement, as well as local and remote troubleshooting purpose.

   

• Responsibilities:

  Responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of telemetry‑driven IIoT systems through advanced troubleshooting, manual testing, and protocol‑level diagnostics across edge and cloud environments.

  
  The L2 Support Engineer / Manual QA Engineer is responsible for second‑line support and quality validation of IoT and IIoT systems handling real‑time telemetry data. The role investigates complex issues escalated from L1, performing root‑cause analysis using logs, metrics, telemetry streams, and monitoring tools. It involves diagnosing problems across edge and cloud environments, often running on Linux‑based systems. The engineer validates fixes and configuration changes before production release and collaborates closely with development, DevOps, and L3 teams.
  In parallel, the role performs manual functional, integration, and regression testing across UI, API, and backend layers. A key responsibility is validating end‑to‑end data flows from devices and gateways through brokers and backend services to dashboards and reports. The engineer ensures data accuracy, correct aggregation, timestamp alignment, and proper resolution in time‑series data.

  
  The role requires hands‑on work with industrial and IoT protocols such as Modbus and MQTT, including validation of payloads, connectivity, and reconnection behavior. It also involves using monitoring and diagnostic systems to detect latency, data loss, or anomalies in real‑time systems. Overall, the role ensures system reliability, data quality, and observability while supporting continuous improvement across support and QA processes.

   

• Mandatory Skills Description:

  Experience as an L2 Support Engineer and/or Manual QA Engineer
  Strong experience with:
  Telemetry data and time‑series data
  Industry Monitoring and diagnostic platforms or Control systems
  Edge and Cloud service experiences
  Hands‑on knowledge of Modbus, MQTT or similar IIoT/industrial protocols
  Strong manual testing experience (UI, API, backend)
  Strong troubleshoot experiences to analyze logs, metrics, and protocol‑level issues
  Understanding of IIoT architectures and data pipelines
  Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL / Time Series)
  Linux knowledge

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Incident Manager to join our 24/7 Technical Operations team.

You will lead the response to technical outages on our e-commerce platform, coordinating between Engineering, DevOps, and Executive leadership to restore service. When incidents occur you will take responsibility for the end-to-end management and coordination of major and high-severity incidents.

Requirements

Must:

• You’re experienced in managing incidents and crisis situations — calm under pressure, decisive in command, and confident coordinating responses across teams
• You’re an excellent communicator and facilitator — able to produce clear, high‑quality communications suitable for senior stakeholders
• Strong technical troubleshooting capability, with the ability to engage credibly with engineers during complex failures
• You understand the intersections of operations and technology — and are excited by the opportunity to strengthen them across the business
• Ability to translate repetitive incident activity into automation requirements and drive adoption with engineering partners
• Experience working in an a retail environment supporting a large e-commerce platform

Important:

• Availability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation model, including participation in an on-call schedule (approximately 1 week per month), ensuring continuous incident management coverage.

Nice to have:

• ITIL certified (desirable)
• Experience of implementing AI tooling and solutions to enhance the incident management service (desirable)

Job responsibilities

• Take ownership of live incident triage and escalation — assessing impact, setting priorities and coordinating effective responses across teams to meet regulatory expectations
• Lead incident calls and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and transparent updates through to E2E conclusion
• Run incidents as a decision system, driving clarity on what is known, what is suspected and what action is taken nextFacilitate post-incident reviews (PIRs) that drive genuine improvement — identifying root causes, challenging assumptions and ensuring permanent fixes are delivered and tracked to closure
• Work across our Technical Operations team to coach and mentor other analysts in incident and problem management best practice
• Support operational resilience activities, including scenario testing and crisis management exercises, to strengthen readiness and communication under pressure
• Continuously improve our incident management framework, playbooks and tools — keeping them clear, effective and aligned with best practice
• Build strong relationships across operational, technical, product and customer teams — fostering collaboration and ensuring incidents are managed efficiently and constructively

Які професійні навички і досвід важливі:

• Досвід корпоративного системного адміністрування від 4–6 років, з практикою технічного лідерства або координації команди; впевнене адміністрування Windows, Linux і macOS у корпоративному середовищі.

• Розуміння та адміністрування корпоративної інфраструктури: мережі, VPN, сегментація доступів, безпека підключень

• Побудова та розвиток операційних IT-процесів: управління доступами й обліковими записами, організація та контроль підтримки користувачів, резервне копіювання даних, стандартизація робочих місць.

• Планування навантаження команди, пріоритизація задач, контроль виконання та формування технічних регламентів і стандартів роботи

• Повне адміністрування корпоративних сервісів: Google Workspace (користувачі, політики безпеки, пошта, домени, аудит дій) та Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket — доступи, workflows, структури проєктів, аудит)

• Управління IT-ресурсами та закупівлями: формування потреб, планування закупівель обладнання, ліцензій і сервісів, робота з постачальниками, контроль якості та бюджету

• Управління повним життєвим циклом IT-активів та системами обліку (GLPI або аналоги)

Буде плюсом:

• Адміністрування VPN та корпоративних мереж

• Впровадження рішень резервного копіювання для користувачів

• Реалізація базових стандартів інформаційної безпеки

2. Технічне інтерв’ю з керівником — Team Lead DevOps  (60 хв). Фокус на навичках, щоб зрозуміти технічний рівень, знання, необхідні hard і soft скіли.

Умови роботи:

• Випробувальний термін — 3 місяці.

• Графік роботи гнучкий та залежить від команди, переважно з 09:30 до 18:30.

• Робота передбачає офісний формат у коворкінгу за адресою: м. Київ, вул. Князів Острозьких, 32/2 (м. Арсенальна). Присутність у Києві є обов’язковою умовою для цієї позиції.

• Відпустка 24 календарних дні + святкові вихідні дні від компанії (у військовий час визначили 4 святкових вихідні: Великдень, День захисників і захисниць, Різдво, Новий рік)

• 5 лікарняних днів в рік без довідки від лікаря. З довідкою кількість днів необмежена, але звісно ж краще, щоб всі були здорові
